The luster of a mineral: Reaction of light when it interacts with the surface of the mineral
The breakage of a mineral: The breaking of cleavage along the surface of a mineral.
Streak of a mineral: Display of the mineral’s color in a powder form
Specific Gravity of a mineral: Ration of a mineral’s density compared to another mineral’s density.
Why color is bad when figuring out minerals:
-From the streak on the rock
